I don t have tinsel though. Whether it s for outdoor christmas decorations or simply to give an outdoor space better ambience. Then all the hanging decorations go on. We have a neighbor that beautifully wraps several trees in her yard each year for christmas.

Lights should be first you can t get the decorations on properly otherwise and see all the wires. Begin at the base of the tree and weave the lights up through the branches to the top of the tree and back down to the base. So if you have a six foot tree you ll probably need 600 lights.
